Favourable legal provisions for entrepreneurs

The basic aims of the "The Business Constitution" package are as follows:

  • improving the constitutional freedom of economic activity,
  • supporting Polish entrepreneurship, including creating better conditions for starting a business,
  • basing relations between public administration and entrepreneurs on trust and partnership,
  • reducing the "grey area",
  • creating clear and transparent procedures for the creation and review of commercial law,
  • providing institutional support for entrepreneurs by appointing a spokesman for Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs,

Acts from the "Business Constitution" package came into force on 30 April 2018.

The right of entrepreneurs in a systemic manner, clearly and concisely defines the foundations of Poland's economic system in the spirit of economic freedom. It is a "card of fundamental rights" for companies that covers the basic principles of running a business and guarantees for entrepreneurs. After 29 years since the transformation of the economy, the law on entrepreneurship matured to collect a set of prime common rules, especially important for the economy in one basic act of commercial law. At the heart of these regulations is the entrepreneur and his rights, as well as the obligations of the state and its administration towards entrepreneurs.
